INSITUS team is recreating the original façade, ceiling decor, arches, and early brick motifs of the Basanavičius building!
We are delighted that the creative real estate development company Reefo has entrusted us with realizing their vision. This century-old building has served various purposes over the years, housing institutions such as a bank, the State Forestry Directorate, the Vilnius Military Garrison, and a university. Now, its history continues with the new owners of 24 apartments.
When we’ve looked our partner’s vision, we saw that this will be a unique project aiming to create a dialogue between history and modern times. Authenticity, modern details, and technological solutions will blend to ensure a comfortable daily life. An intriguing challenge awaits us as we seek to uncover and restore hidden treasures that have been buried beneath layers of plaster for decades.
